Belinda is known to be a strong, pro-life and pro-family individual. In July 2020, Belinda was kicked out of the Ontario PC Party by Premier Doug Ford after she courageously voted against a government bill that extends its emergency powers by up to two years to deal with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Karahalios felt the bill represented an "unnecessary overreach" of her own PC government's legislative power, and she was willing to pay the price to follow her conscience and protect the interests of her constituents.
Since being expelled from the PC Party, Karahalios continues to serve her constituents as the first sitting MPP from the recently-formed New Blue Party of Ontario.

In January 2025, Regional Councillor Rob Deutschmann resigned his office in order to run as a Liberal Party of Ontario candidate in the snap provincial election in February. As a Regional Councillor, Mr. Deutschmann used the ridiculous on-screen pronouns of "he/him" during zoom meetings of Regional Council, to signal his devotion to and compliance with transgender ideology. He also voted in favour of an authoritarian and unconstitiutional censorship by-law to restrict the freedom of expression and freedom of association of citizens if they cause a person to "feel harassed" on the basis of their "gender identity", "gender expression", or "sexual orientation".
The Ontario Liberal Pary is officially pro-abortion, as evidenced by an official statement posted on its website following the June 2022 ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court overturning the pro-abortion Roe v. Wade decision, whereby one of the party's commissions declared that "the people of Ontario should have safe and accessible reproductive health, including abortions."
The Ontario Liberal Party is also an official supporter of LGBT ideology, as evidenced by multiple statements and declarations by the leader and on its website. For instance, in June 2024, Liberal leader Bonnie Crombie released a statement honoring and celebrating the "contributions" of so-called 2SLGBTQIA+ Ontarians. She emphasized the importance of recognizing the history of Pride as a protest movement. Crombie stated, "Love is love, not just during Pride but every day of the year." These statements reflect the Ontario Liberal Party's ongoing support for LGBT ideology.
