Side-by-Side Candidate Comparison in the Riding of Cambridge

Rating Comments

Belinda is known to be a strong, pro-life and pro-family individual.

In July 2020, Belinda was kicked out of the Ontario PC Party by Premier Doug Ford after she courageously voted against a government bill that extends its emergency powers by up to two years to deal with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Karahalios felt the bill represented an "unnecessary overreach" of her own PC government's legislative power, and she was willing to pay the price to follow her conscience and protect the interests of her constituents.

Since being expelled from the PC Party, Karahalios continues to serve her constituents as the first sitting MPP from the recently-formed New Blue Party of Ontario.
